Pim Gal (1987) is Director of CHDR Twente, where he is responsible for the further development and expansion of CHDR’s research activities in the eastern Netherlands. He is a clinical pharmacologist with extensive experience in early-phase clinical research and leadership. Pim studied Medicine (completed in 2012) and obtained his PhD in 2016, followed by his clinical pharmacology registration in 2021.
He worked as a Senior Clinical Scientist at CHDR in Leiden from 2017 to 2022, where he was involved in the design and execution of early-phase clinical studies. Pim has a strong background in cardiovascular medicine, with experience spanning clinical residency, PhD research, and roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He focuses on translating scientific innovation into clinical practice and fostering collaborations with academic and clinical partners to advance drug development.
